Prior to joining the ASRC and the CUNY Graduate Center in Jan. 2023, Qiushi was a postdoctoral research associate at the California Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Yale University in 2019. His research interests include integrated ultrafast and quantum photonics, mid-infrared photonics, and optoelectronics in emerging quantum materials. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed research papers in leading scientific journals including Science, Nature Photonics, Nature Materials, Physical Review Letters, Nature Communications, Optica, Nano Letters, etc.

Guanyu Han

Guanyu received obtained his Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University in 2023, 2019, and 2016, respectively. His research interests include integrated ultrafast photonics, microwave photonics, and optical computing.

Yu obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Xiamen University, China, and later earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His primary focus lies at the intersection of photonics and computing.

Wenjun Deng

Wenjun earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the UESTC, China. During his master's study, he forged a unique combination of mechanical actuators and metasurfaces, leading to the creation of tunable mid-infrared metalens with dynamic wavefront reconfiguration. His current research is centered around next-generation thermal vision technologies leveraging novel physical principles and device architectures.
